ok, you show two pictures of some lady singer (who needs to eat more) and then a hairy arm.
i had to do a quadruple take to make sure it wasn't her hairy arm!

yeah, that would be aimee mann, probably my favorite lyricist of all time. she's always looked like that, but she's apparently pretty healthy - she's gotten into the whole boxing thing - note the tatoos. her last album, "the forgotten arm" was even about a boxer.

Awesome photos!! She does look a bit thin, but that's cool that you got so close! Hope you were able to feel the music for her show at least. And yes, I think I am equally offended by people as you are.

did anyone else get the chicken cone?

Posted by: mike at September 19, 2006 07:15 PM

um, no, but i did have a crunchy avocado cone. i also made my friend, who was in a self-destructive "i'm not going to eat, but i'm going to get wasted" mode, eat a sausage cone.

I should have had the chicken cone! I had a brisket wrap and a hamburger. Both got the job done. But now. I'm feeling like I missed out w/o the chicken cone. Dammit!

Maybe you have too high expectations of people, Rob? My brother was continually surprised (almost appalled, but in a good way) that we could leave our things (chairs/blankets) unattended, and would come back to find everything just as we left it...

It was, finally, when he returned to find a strange man sitting in his stadium chair that he felt "all was right with the world again," according to him at least.

I got a kick out of it!

I was tired, and the chair looked plenty comfy. Sorry. And how your brother didn't recognize me, is beyond me.

Chicken cone?
Like Chicken flavored icecream cone?
